Hey everyone! Let me first start off by saying how excited I am that all of you joined our community. I have for a long time wanted to be part of a group of powerful trainers, that battle and learn from one another. I really hope that this community will be a positive and fun experience for everyone that is involved.
So I think I am supposed to tell you about my Pokemon history. I have been playing Pokemon ever since I got yellow when I was 7 years old (that was 16 years ago in case you just asked yourself how long ago that was). I have played every generation of Pokemon, but only about 2 years ago got competitive with it, after I beat Y. I wanted to take my Pokemon experience to the next level, and see how I stacked up against other players. I remember spending an entire summer trading and breeding to make my first competitive team. I made that team for VGC doubles, and to this day that is my preferred format of battle. I have done a few live events for it, but unfortunately as a working college student I rarely have time to do all I want. I also go on showdown regularly and engage in OU singles and UU singles. I have a good amount of experience in building teams for different formats, along with breeding the Pokemon for those teams. I would love to talk with all you and help you as much as I can.
A little bit about myself. I am in college studying special education for elementary school. I also work as a direct support care giver to adults with disabilities. I tend to live in my phone, so I will probably be posting a lot here as a result of that. When I am not busy with school or work, or playing Pokemon, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend and our beagle mix that we adopted a month and a half ago. His name is logan, because his mommy's favorite super hero is Wolverine. And no Logan's mommy does not play Pokemon, despite Logan's daddy pushing her to she has no interest. But at the same time Logan's daddy doesn't play world of war craft, SOOOOOO Logan figures it all evens out.
